We've decided to make these a permanent part of our pricing!
The multi-track special is designed to help you record your music in small batches, if necessary, until you have enough for an album - or put out an EP! The rate is $125 per song. This includes up to 5 basic tracks (ex : bass, drums, 1 guitar, and 2 vocal tracks per song) with additional tracks only $10 per track per song. You get to do 8 takes of every track. Additional hours, if needed, are billed at only $10 an hour. If you choose to record any cover songs, you will need to show proof that you have obtained the proper licenses to do so. We can assist you with that, as well. Make a 3 song single to give out at gigs! Make an EP to pass out to fans or to sell at gigs! Make a whole album to sell at gigs and from your web site! We can make your web site, too!
The Demo was created to get you out there earning money. When you want to get hired by a venue, they are going to want to hear what you sound like. Here is the perfect way to do so! Record 3 to 5 songs at only $75 per song all live - that's right...you and your band all play live in the studio, up to 4 takes per song, and we'll put your best take of each song on CD for you to hand out to the booking agents at venues! Cover songs are okay for the demo, as most venues will want to know if you are playing popular music and what it is. We encourage you to include originals, if you have them. It is considered okay to record cover songs for the purpose of a gig demo only and this CD should not be made available for sale or there WILL be legal implications - and I don't mean from us, but from the legal copyright owner.
We will give you 2 master copies of your finished recordings and store 1 additional master copy for you in case something happens to your copies. Our policy is to obtain a 50% deposit on all recording and the balance is to be paid before your masters are released. Hours in the studio are flexible and the studio is available for the rate of $15 per hour. Please refer to our "Are You Ready to Record?" brochure for helpful tips on going into a studio.
